Technical Support / Re: New category
« on: July 12, 2017, 02:48:49 PM »
Andre, I just thought I created a new category under RBE called Resources, to begin to place links to other RBE-based websites, Facebook Pages, etc., as we come across them.  Makes it fast if you are on one, and to jump over here and just copy it in.

It didn't show up.  But then, I refreshed the page, and I didn't have a fully loaded page in the first place as only two countries were showing up.

Could you check you log, as mine doesn't show my activity, plus I answered a question to Piper and it's missing too.

Need for me just to try again?

Tanks, xxoo Cathy

I guess that category ain't appearing because it have no boards. Add new boards and it might work.

Also, if you are referring to this reply. It is there. Just that I replied moments after you, so a bit below.

Hi, I'm John. I work as a senior Charge Nurse in Orthopaedic trauma, and I absolutely love my job. It consumes a lot of my time, as apart from working full time, It's not the type of job that allows standard finishing times. I'm also contacted frequently at home about hospital stuff.Unfortunately  this means that I can't  spend as much time on the MFP as I would like. Part of the reason I support the  MFP would be so that I could have a better and more controlled work life balance (Yes I would be more than happy to continue working in my job in the new society)
I have four kids ranging from 22 to 10 (who also take up a fair chunk of my time) and am increadibly proud of the people they are becoming.  I am also married and have been for 27 years.
SO........that's all pretty traditional then, so how did I get attracted to the MFP and RBE? Well I've never seen having a 'traditional' life and being subversive as mutually exclusive.
They say the older you get, the more conservative you get. In my case it works the other way round. I started in middle liberal ground in my teens and have drifted further left as I read and saw more. I eneded up labeling myself as an anarchist for years, but even that wsn't quite right. Then I discovered RBE. It appealled. It allowed me to drop labels and trying to pigeonhole or define my place on the political map, mainly because RBE scraps the political map. I truly believe that this is the only sane and rational plan for a decet, mature society, and the MFP appears to be the best way to achieve some practical results in the present society.
So there you go. I also have four cats, a rabbit, a gekko and a fish (and an adopted donkey) so please dont judge.

That's awesome John.
You are funny and interesting.
And you have experiences like mine (starting from middle and then moving towards left, labelling as anarchist and later discarding the political map itself).
It's just that I don't have a spouse, children and I have got only 1 pet dog and I am probably (read certainly) less experienced in life than you. :D :P

Thanks for your support!!!

My name is Steve Bottrell. I live in Alberta, Canada. I have always gone through my life thinking that something is not quite right with the world, but couldn't put my finger on the problem. Then about a decade or more ago, I discovered Jacque Fresco, and suddenly I could put my finger on it. It was a life changing experience for me, an awakening of sorts. And after years of study and confirming the science behind the RBE train of thought, I couldn't deny the logic of it. Our current socioeconomic system is madness, and we need a new way. IMO, RBE is it. And so I plan to run in our next federal election under the Money Free banner. I know this is a very steep uphill battle, but we have to start somewhere. I have always thought waiting for a collapse and hoping a recovery leads to a RBE is folly, so we need to use the system we have now to push for change. Sadly, we must become politically active. Hopefully, this is the start of a quick change on our planet. Lets grow this party around the world.

Hey Steve,
Your motivated spirit is really appreciated.
And yes, we should work in whatever way we can.

Btw, you are aware of Jacque for 52.63% of my total age. 😂😂😂 That's amazing from a perspective.

Hiya Im Nick, I dont do bio's but i do do criticism.
I am highly critical of everything, and that's why i support a Resource based economy.[ I cant criticise it]

Irony in the criticism.
Nice to have you, nick!
Criticism is the most craved necessity here. :D

I sense a 'poke' LOL.  I deeply appreciate Shreyansh's assistance as my #1 and him straightening me out when I find myself stuck in a corner I created and find myself backed into.  He is a fabulous RBE supporter and a tremendous member of our Money Free World.  Thank you Shrey, Cathy

My name is Cathy and I am a volunteer American political consultant, now living in retirement in sunny Southwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico.  I was born and raised in the then-Territory of Alaska and have lots of outrageous but true stories to share, and like to have fun, so expect to have fun. I was born and lived in Anchorage for 30 years, moved and lived in the notorious fishing village of Homer, Alaska (Tom Bodett - Motel 6, End of Road, Jewel Kilcher, Deadliest Catch) for thirteen glorious years, my dream come true.  Where old hippies come to live and die.  I then moved to Florida to thaw out.  My political career was built into my genes as I have always been interested in government, worked on many campaigns and fundraisers, then opened my fat mouth during the 1989 T/V Exxoff Valdez Oil Spill as Homer was the only populated area to be oiled (slightly), worked on the spill, ran for City Council, ran without campaigning and won to my surprise, and served a 3-year term on the local level.  I found my opening and was appointed by President George Bush I to be the City of Homer Representative to CIRCAC of the newly passed Oil Spill Prevention Act of 1990 as a result of the Spill and was the first Vice Chair and first Chair of the Environmental Monitoring Committee. I slowly moved into political consulting, working on campaigns to build a natural gas pipeline from the North Slope to Valdez and for Sarah Palin's Governor's race (Google Scott Heyworth Sarah Palin Time Magazine for a little FUN).  I came into RBE via Barb Craig and TZM to TVP to Money Free Party.  I believe strongly in the ideals of Money Free governing and believe we are charged with the roots of this movement and setting a path to the future of a sustainable, equitable lifestyle for all humans on this planet.  I have travelled extensively, seen the poverty of 3rd world countries (which everyone should see at some point at an early age) and it is wrong, wrong for some of us to be blessed and so many of us to be treated so badly over, um, money? resources?  In any event, I will slowly be building a candidate's training program here with seminars, videos, one-on-one training, mock debates, and you may always pm me with any questions.  I will always be available if you need help if you are thinking about running to help educate about RBE and perhaps think you might want to take it a bit further and try to win that first seat at the local level. I wish you all the best of luck and remember! Always ask for the vote!

I guess you are Nick. Aren't you? ;)

Technical Support / YT channel badge on forum
« on: June 24, 2017, 02:03:57 PM »
I was just trying to add YT channel"s badge to the footer of forum with Fb, twitter.
And encountered this issue:

Admin Settings page asks for username and concats that with<channel username>
Whereas to visit our channel only these 2 links work:
Default link:
Custom Link:

So, is there a way to solve this?
Suggested paths for solutions:
1. We change that concatenation from happening on itself.
2. We figure out user link of YT channel.
