ok well i suppose we are still in the stages of structuring the party.
Jodian is our registered chair person.
Most partys do have separate roles for chairperson and leader, this is to keep leaders in check and also allow the leader to be free of the organisational responsibility of the party
As leaders go, at the moment Cathy seems to be calling the shots and designating roles and position' which we all know is not ideal, though appreciate the help she has given. Freeing her time will also allow her to focus a bit more on the structuring of the International side.
I think at the moment its going to be advantageous for us to have a second treasury officer, and an active chairperson

we seem to be having some confusion about our identity at the moment, and this needs to be sorted so please give us your views.
My view is that official on our web addresses and the electoral  commision we keep with the term money free party uk , but on the banners etc we become unofficially  money free uk.
Keeping the term "party" ensures that people know we are a political party..
This is just my view please let us know your views?

19 July 2017 Hangout / Party Officials
« on: July 19, 2017, 07:03:55 AM »
When someone becomes a party official, they identify with their position and the party, more than they do when they are just a passive member, this creates more input to the party and is generally a very good thing. It can also save the party from costly mistakes and save stressing out officials that have too much work.
What i want to suggest is that we take on more officials, we take on a chairman, we take on another [at leasy] treasurer [their role can be to oversee that the treasury complies with its responsibilities , so as reducing the risk of our past upset with the electoral office].
and im sure if we put our heads up we can find some more official roles
Please comment.

19 July 2017 Hangout / Decision making processes
« on: July 19, 2017, 06:58:55 AM »
I dont think that the UK party has any formal decision making processes, in both the internal framework [organisational] and in its policy and stance making. This lack of process does cause some confusion, and often decisions are made on the hangout or made in private without other members being aware of the issues.
This needs to be rectified.
anyone any ideas?

Hi Uriana nice to talk again. How are you?

My name is Cathy and I am a volunteer American political consultant, now living in retirement in sunny Southwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico.  I was born and raised in the then-Territory of Alaska and have lots of outrageous but true stories to share, and like to have fun, so expect to have fun. I was born and lived in Anchorage for 30 years, moved and lived in the notorious fishing village of Homer, Alaska (Tom Bodett - Motel 6, End of Road, Jewel Kilcher, Deadliest Catch) for thirteen glorious years, my dream come true.  Where old hippies come to live and die.

I then moved to Florida to thaw out.  My political career was built into my genes as I have always been interested in government, worked on many campaigns and fundraisers, then opened my fat mouth during the 1989 T/V Exxoff Valdez Oil Spill as Homer was the only populated area to be oiled (slightly), worked on the spill, ran for City Council, ran without campaigning and won to my surprise, and served a 3-year term on the local level.  I found my opening and was appointed by President George Bush I to be the City of Homer Representative to CIRCAC of the newly passed Oil Spill Prevention Act of 1990 as a result of the Spill and was the first Vice Chair and first Chair of the Environmental Monitoring Committee. I slowly moved into political consulting, working on campaigns to build a natural gas pipeline from the North Slope to Valdez and for Sarah Palin's Governor's race (Google Scott Heyworth Sarah Palin Time Magazine for a little FUN).  I came into RBE via Barb Craig and TZM to TVP to Money Free Party.  I believe strongly in the ideals of Money Free governing and believe we are charged with the roots of this movement and setting a path to the future of a sustainable, equitable lifestyle for all humans on this planet.  I have travelled extensively, seen the poverty of 3rd world countries (which everyone should see at some point at an early age) and it is wrong, wrong for some of us to be blessed and so many of us to be treated so badly over, um, money? resources?  In any event, I will slowly be building a candidate's training program here with seminars, videos, one-on-one training, mock debates, and you may always pm me with any questions.  I will always be available if you need help if you are thinking about running to help educate about RBE and perhaps think you might want to take it a bit further and try to win that first seat at the local level. I wish you all the best of luck and remember! Always ask for the vote!

i just did a swap on the fb you can see , the logo with the current banner is an ugly mismatch.
But if we use the rectangle  [new]logo say on this forum to replace the old logo and banner , im sure it will look better.
We will have to have a play around and find new banners to suit the logo
